Authentic Japanese Bento Boxes
Minatoku Kitchen offers authentic Japanese bento boxes. We prioritize the kindness and attentiveness characteristic of the Japanese and approach the preparation and presentation of dishes in Japan with love. Our main focus is to make Hawaiian and travelers love the taste of Japan.
Our main goal is to be loved by the local community, so we are constantly working on developing new menus and other offerings in response to the feedback and preferences of our local customers.

Attention to Preparation – “Shikomi”
We pay great attention to the preparation process. While it is important for the ingredients to be fresh and determine the taste of each ingredient, it is through pre-processing and preparation, commonly known as “shikomi,” that the ingredients are truly showcased. By meticulously and wholeheartedly carrying out the customary seasoning and pre-processing techniques that are commonly practiced in Japan, we are able to create delicious bento boxes just like the ones found in Japan.
In our bento boxes, each sauce and seasoning is made entirely from scratch, with original recipes. Whether it’s teriyaki sauce, barbecue sauce, yakiniku marinade, or tomato sauce, we blend each one using Japanese condiments. As a result, our bento boxes offer a gentle and unique flavor that cannot be found in commercial options.
