E ALOHA MAI KAKOU! Hey everybody! Have you been in Hawaii for a while and still feel like something is missing??? Come talk, eat, drink, and learn about the Hawaii you really want to know about.. This is an opportunity to practice English while learning about Hawaii by a Hawaiian in Hawaiian language! Yes, we learn basic Olelo Hawaii words, phrases, and proverbs. The goals are to meet fun and interesting people like you, learn and practice language and culture in a natural setting. There is no grammar exercises at all! Your host, Lono-Sensei is a teacher who speaks 5 languages and is passionate about Hawaiian culture and learning about other cultures too.
This meetup is great for:

-visiting backpackers and surfers to Hawaii looking to meet locals and talk story
