～ Half Run in Perfect Season ！ ～ HAWAIIES Half Marathon Hapalua 2025 Call for Runners ！

The Honolulu Marathon Japan Office has begun accepting applications for runners to participate in the "Hawaii Half Marathon Hapalua 2025" scheduled to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii ・ on April 13, 2025.
"Hapalua" means "half, half" in Hawaiian. "Hapalua" means "half and a half" in Hawaiian, and the Honolulu Marathon Association, which organizes the Honolulu Marathon, will host the event, which started in 2012 and will be in its 14th year next year.
Although the distance is half of the Honolulu Marathon, the race starts in front of the Duke ・ Kahanamoku statue on Kalakaua Avenue, the main street of Waikiki, passes over Aloha Tower, turns around downtown and circles Diamond Head, and finishes at Kapiolani Park as in the Honolulu Marathon. It is 21.0975 kilometers long and finishes at Kapiolani Park, just like the Honolulu Marathon. The course is truly a course where you can enjoy the best parts of Honolulu. Like the Honolulu Marathon, there is no time limit for the finish line, so first-time runners will have a low hurdle to overcome and can easily participate in the event with their family and friends.
In addition, Hapalua is less strenuous than the full marathon, and since the event ends in the morning, participants can enjoy Honolulu to the fullest during their stay, including shopping and sightseeing. The Hawaii Half Marathon Hapalua is held in April, when the high temperature is below 30℃, and you can fully enjoy Hawaii at this time of year when beautiful flowers are in full bloom.
