Ala Moana Center Hosts Festive Event&Promotion for the Holiday Season

HONOLULU, HAWAII - The holiday season has arrived at Ala Moana Center again this year, and to kick off the season, "Big Santa" has made his debut on the Makai ・ Parking Deck facing Ala Moana Boulevard from November 9 - December 24, 2024, From November 9 - December 24, 2024, Ala Moana Center will offer a variety of festive events and activities, including photo opportunities with Santa, daily holiday ・ hula shows, letters to Santa, exclusive gift giveaways, and an extra-large Black Friday sale. Holiday Hours
Ala Moana Center's regular hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but will be extended starting December 6 to allow you to fully enjoy your holiday shopping. Please check in advance as hours of operation may vary from store to store.

Big Santa is back ！
The 15 meter tall Big Santa is installed annually at Ala Moana Center, It weighs approximately 907 kilograms of resin and 232 square meters of fiberglass. Using a custom-built elevator system that can withstand winds of up to 86 mph, a team of 12 people spend two days installing Big Santa; the original Big Santa, before the new Big Santa in 2020, was about 11.3 meters tall and made of paper mache and a wire mesh framework.

Holiday Gift Giveaway
From November 9 - December 24, customers who spend $500 or more at Ala Moana Center will receive a limited edition travel tote bag with Big Santa enamel charm. Get in the holiday spirit with this special gift ！ One gift per person, while supplies last, November 9, 2024 ～ Present your original receipt dated December 24 at Guest Services during the same period to during the same period to redeem the gift. A maximum of 5 receipts per store will be accepted. Must be 18 years of age or older to redeem the gift. Gifts cannot be returned, exchanged or redeemed for cash. Photo with Santa at the Surf Shack
Santa's Surf Shack （ Visit the Surf Shack ） and capture Christmas memories with your family ？ Surf-themed set includes iconic surf board photo wall, perfect for selfies. Photo sessions will be held from November 15 to December 24 on the 2nd floor of the mall level, near Target in the Mauka Wing. Pets ・ Photos ・ Night ： Every Monday, November 18 ～ December 10, from 4-7pm, you can take a photo with Santa with your beloved pet （ dogs or cats only ）.


Letters to Santa
November 9 ～ December 24, children of all ages can write and drop off their Christmas wishes to Santa at the "Letters to Big Santa" mailbox located in the Mauka Wing, 3rd Level, 3rd Floor, Ala Moana Center. Children of all ages can write their Christmas wishes to Santa and drop them off at the "Letters to Big Santa" mailbox. Letterheads for writing letters are available free of charge.

Holiday Entertainment
Celebrate the holiday season in style with festive entertainment at Ala Moana Center, including free holiday-themed hula shows and roaming ・ carolers.

Free Hula Show ：
Center Stage offers authentic hula shows daily.

Ala Moana ・ Hula Show ： Holiday-themed hula shows will begin on Black Friday, November 29, and run daily at 5pm. Enjoy a spectacular show featuring a mix of traditional Hawaiian and holiday songs, including "Hawaiian ・ Santa" and "Ke ・ Aloha ・ Kalikimaka."
Keiki ・ Hula Show: a rotating program of contemporary and holiday-themed dances on Sundays at 1:00 pm.

Roaming ・ Carolers ：
Christmas Carolers will perform a cappella renditions of holiday classics in beautiful harmony as they walk through the center Every Saturday from November 9 - December 21 Saturdays, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Holiday Performances ：
Enjoy a variety of free performances on the Center Stage and Everwing ・ Stage during the holidays. 24/7 Danceforce, Hawaii ・ State ・ Ballet, Ka ・ Hale ・ I ・ O ・ Kahala ・ Halau ・ Hula, New ・ Hope ・ Oahu, Royal ・ Hawaiian ・ Bands, Oahu Middle Schools ・ High Schools, Groups from Oahu's West Coast and more.
Black Friday Sale
November 29 （ Friday ）, the biggest sale&of the year, will be a limited time promotion. On Black Friday, stores will have extended hours, opening from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Many stores will also offer early-bird sales. A free shopping guide featuring doorbuster specials and individual store offers will be available for download starting November 26 on the official AlaMoanaCenter.com/en/. Fashion ・ Santa
Fashion ・ Santa comes to town and makes his Hawaii debut at Ala Moana Center. Fashion ・ Santa, also known as model Paul ・ Mason, has been a viral ・ sensation worldwide since 2015. He has partnered with organizations such as Make ・ a ・ Wish Foundation and Chic ・ Kids ・ Hospital to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars through various charitable efforts. Fashion ・ Santa has been featured in Vogue, Time, The Guardian, and other well-known media outlets, spreading holiday cheer with a fashionable twist while helping those in need.

Dec. 16 （ Mon ）, Fashion ・ Santa will be at various stores in Ala Moana Center for customers to take photos and enjoy stories. More details to be released soon.


Winter ・ Wonderland
Winter ・ Wonderland, a limited-time pop-up bar, will be open December 1-28 in the Eva Wing on the first floor of the Street Level. From 5 p.m. to midnight daily, guests can enjoy holiday cocktails in a festively decorated Christmas setting.

FUKU BAGS
To celebrate the start of the New Year, Ala Moana Center will be offering limited-edition grab bags at participating stores on January 1, 2025 from 10 am to 8 pm. This year, more than 30 participating stores will again offer fukubukuro filled with attractive items at less than half the regular retail price. Customers will line up in front of popular stores from early morning on New Year's Day, so be sure to arrive early to get your grab bag. Ala Moana Center Guest Services provides store, transportation and event information, gift card sales （ $30 - $250 USD ）, complimentary wheelchair rentals, and exclusive gift redemptions are just a few of the diverse services offered. Ala Moana Center gift cards are available in denominations from $30 to $250 and can be redeemed at nearly every store and restaurant in the Center, as well as nearly every location where American ・ Express is accepted. In addition, customers shopping at Ala Moana Center can receive up to three gift-wrapped items per person, free of charge, for the day of purchase.

Holiday ・ Valet Parking Lexus ・ Hawaii Sponsored
Valet parking is available at Ala Moana Center during the Holidays. Located on the 2nd floor of the mall level, across from Jamba Juice and Shabuya, on the mountain side of the Eva Wing parking lot. The valet parking service is operated by Elite Parking Services and sponsored by Lexus ・ Hawaii. As part of the Lexus ・ Parks ・ program, valet parking is free for Lexus owners who leave their Lexus vehicle. All other vehicles will be charged $8 per vehicle. The program is available from November 29 （ Friday ） through December 26 （ Tuesday ） during Ala Moana Center hours （ 12/2 ～ 12/5 and 12/9 ～ 12/12 and 12/16 ～ except 12/17 and 12/25 ）. For those who prefer self-parking, there are 11,000 free parking spaces available on site, including Mauka ・ Eva ・ Parking with 4,500 parking spaces in the center.
