Job Description | < Sushi Chef > ・ Prepare sushi and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and standards ・ Control quality and freshness of ingredients used to prepare sushi ・ Maintain clean and organized work area ・ Work with kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely service ・ Assist with take-out orders as needed < Kitchen Chef > ・ Prepare various dishes according to established recipes and ・ Ensure quality and presentation of all food ・ Manage food inventory and order supplies as needed ・ Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food and equipment < Service Manager > ・ Oversee daily restaurant operations and improve customer service ・ Train and manage servers, instruct on menu and service standards ・ Work with kitchen and beverage yard staff on ordering and food ・ Maintain quality of beverages ・ Clean and organize dining area, set up and clear tables ・ Order drinks ・ Maintain inventory, procure store supplies, and manage staff shifts < Server > ・ Take orders, serve food and drinks, and provide an enjoyable dining experience for customers Provide excellent customer service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience. ・ Explain the menu, including sushi and other Japanese dishes, and assist guests in making choices. ・ Work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt delivery of orders and high quality food and beverages. ・ Clean and organize dining area including setting up and clearing tables. ・ Process take-out orders efficiently and accurately. *Servers must be US permanent residents or citizenship specific visa holders US permanent residents or citizenship specific visa holders and US residents are preferred. *Minimum of 5 years of work experience required for applicants from Japan. |
