We are excited to announce that Hawaii Todaiji and JCI Honolulu are teaming up to host our inaugural obon festival, Megabon!
We are pleased to announce the partnership between Todaiji Temple Hawaii and JCI Honolulu to host the first Bon Festival "Megabon".
Located in the heart of Nuuanu, Todaiji Hawaii Bekketsu Honzan is a local Buddhist temple considered the "Gateway to the West" of the main Todaiji temple in Nara, Japan. Todaiji Hawaii is proud to work with JCI Honolulu, a non-profit organization for young professionals.
Please join us on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Aloha Stadium Lower Halawa Lot. 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Parking is $9.00. Free admission ！
Megabon will feature a night of fun bon dance and over 60 booths with food, drinks, festival games, beer garden, and more. Don't forget to bring chairs and blankets for the open picnic area.
