*Kekaha Landfill* *to close at noon on **Dec. **20*

KEKAHA – The Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division is announcing modified hours for the Kekaha Landfill on Friday, Dec. 20, to accommodate a community-sponsored event. The landfill will be closed at noon.

Landfill staff will inform customers, including large commercial haulers, of the early closure. Signage of the early closure will also be posted at the landfill scale house to notify customers.

The landfill will resume its regular hours on Saturday, Dec. 21. The landfill’s regular operating hours are from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for commercial loads and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for residential loads. The landfill is closed for lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.
