*Intermittent road and lane closures scheduled for tree trimming along Akemama Road*

LĀWA‘I  – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions, are announcing single lane closures and intermittent road closures along portions of Akemama Road in Lāwa‘i on September 2, from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Intermittent 15 to 30 minute full road closures will occur throughout the workday in the vicinity of 4657 Akemama Road.

The following closures are necessary for tree trimming and removal.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
