*KPD Seeks Public’s Assistance Locating Wailua Man Wanted in Multiple Investigations*

LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Wailua man who is wanted in connection with multiple ongoing criminal investigations.

Kamron Cortez, 31, is currently wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle, with bail set at $20,000.

Cortez is 5 feet 5 inches tall, approximately 145 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He is known to frequent the Kapa‘a and Līhu‘e areas.

Cortez is also a suspect in multiple recent burglaries, vehicle break-ins, and vehicle theft incidents. He is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach him if seen and to contact law enforcement immediately.

Anyone with information regarding Cortez’s whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Bobby Thompson at (808) 241-1635.
