Water service shutdown scheduled for portion of Olohena Road on Sept. 10

KAPA’A – The Department of Water and Earthworks Pacific, Inc. has scheduled a water service shutdown on a portion of Olohena Road, near the vicinity of Olohena Road and Waipouli Road, on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., weather permitting to tie-in a waterline to the existing system.

See attached map for affected service areas.

Customers located in the service area are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking the following steps:
• Store water to meet your needs until water service can be safely restored.
• Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown.
• Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that water heaters do not empty during the shutdown.
