In addition to the bandstand, there will be another Diamond Head Stage on the large grounds to allow more ukulele players to perform. In addition, there will be booths from ukulele makers, ukulele stores, and ukulele schools in Hawaii, as well as food vendors offering chilled Chinese noodles, shave ice, sandwiches, boxed lunches, and andagi, making this a big event for everyone to enjoy.

Kazuyuki Sekiguchi, who was the driving force behind starting the Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii 15 years ago, had this to say about the event. We have chosen Billy ・ V, a well-known local ukulele player, to be the emcee for this event to bring ukulele fans from all over the world to Kapiolani Park and make it an event that will be loved by the community. The festival will be a celebration of the ukulele and its ability to bring love, joy, and smiles to people all over the world, and will also deepen international exchanges beyond language barriers. The Ukulele Foundation ・ of ・ Hawaii was founded in Honolulu in October 2007 by Kazuyuki Sekiguchi and other members with the goal of creating a "Ukulele Museum" where ukulele and Hawaiian music history can be learned and ukulele fans around the world can gather.
