5 ・ Two people for 3 days from 21

We are going to Honolulu from Kona on May 21,
and are looking for a place to stay
for 3 days in a safe, downtown area for two elderly couples. Our goal is to retire in Hawaii
and we are thinking of buying a condo in the downtown area near Whole Foods, etc.
but we would like to see the place first. Can anyone
give me some information about living in this area and if there are any recommendations
for short term stays nearby? I am not a tourist so I don't want to pay any fees
and I would like a nice clean place to stay. We will not be renting a car. If you have access to a bus or other transportation
that would be better. If you are not available and would be willing to rent for 3 days, please let me know.
I am an accountant living in Silicon Valley and have lived in the US for almost 40 years.
Please let me know if you have any recommendations or if you have a condo you would like to recommend. I do not smoke. No pets allowed.
