I am in my 50's. I am moving to Hawaii this summer from California and would like to make friends.

I currently live in California, but my family and I are planning to move to the Honolulu area sometime between the end of May and August. I left Japan in my late 40s and lived in California for 4 1/2 years. So I am finally getting used to the American life itself.
I have been to Oahu once every two years, but I have not stayed in Honolulu, have no familiarity with the area, and do not know anyone there.

Since coming to the U.S., I have been trying to interact with Americans as much as possible,
but recently I have realized how important it is to have a good conversation in Japanese and to be able to empathize with people from the same hometown,
and I was wondering if anyone would like to be my friend from a chatting partner. I posted this here because I was wondering if anyone would be interested in becoming a friend of mine.

I am open to all genders, ages and races.
I'm a newcomer and I'm very anxious, so please tell me about Hawaii if you would like.
