*Fiscal Year 2024-2025 first installment Real Property Tax due Aug. 20*

LĪHU‘E – County officials would like to remind Kaua‘i property owners that the first installment of real property taxes for the 2024-2025 tax year are due on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Real property tax bills were mailed out on July 20, 2024. If you have not yet received your bill, please call the Real Property Tax Collections Section at 808-241-4272 or email at rpc@kauai.gov.

Payments can be made online at kauairpt.ehawaii.gov [ https://kauairpt.ehawaii.gov/propertytax/kauai/welcome.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ], by mail, in person, or at the drop box located outside the Kapulē Building at the Līhu‘e Civic Center. Please make checks payable to the Director of Finance.

No appointments are necessary to visit the Real Property Tax Collections Section. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays.

Failure to pay real property taxes in full by August 20, 2024, will result in a 10% penalty, as well as 1% interest per month.
