DOW reminder: Water service shutdown scheduled for Po'ohiwi Road on July 23

KALAHEO - The Department of Water (DOW) reminds customers of scheduled water service shutdown for Po'ohiwi Road on Wednesday, July 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.

DOW contractor will be installing a bypass waterline on Po'ohiwi Road for the Kalaheo Water Systems Improvements Project.

Customers are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking the following steps:
• Store water to meet your needs until water service can be restored.
• Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown.
• Those with faulty water heaters should ensure their water heater does not empty during the shutdown.
