Mika Mimura Erickson (vibraphone)

Vibraphone and marimba player, sound healer. born in Osaka, Japan. she began playing the marimba at the age of six. Mika received a Master's Degree from Mika received a Master's Degree from Osaka College of Music, and she was awarded a Berklee World Scholarship to enroll and graduated. She lived in New York City for about 10 years and has worked with award-winning artists. She joined the group "Banda Magda" while in New York. Mika has performed at the New York Blue Note Jazz Club with her own group, and at the Embassy of Japan Information and Culture Center in Washington, DC. She has lived and performed in Hawaii since 2019. She regularly performs sound healing, at concerts, and events. website
