CORRECTION: Water service shutdown scheduled for Po'ohiwi Road on July 23 

The previous version of this news release indicated the water service shutdown was scheduled on Wednesday, July 23, the information has been updated to reflect the correct day of Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

KALAHEO - The Department of Water (DOW) reminds customers of the scheduled water service shutdown for Po'ohiwi Road on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.

DOW contractor will be installing a bypass waterline on Po'ohiwi Road for the Kalaheo Water Systems Improvements Project.

Customers are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking the following steps:
• Store water to meet your needs until water service can be restored.
• Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown.
• Those with faulty water heaters should ensure their water heater does not empty during the shutdown.
