NOTICE TO BIDDERS

KULA AGRICULTURAL PARK BOOSTER PUMP RELOCATION

DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE JOB NO. AG-24-01

KULA, MAUI, HAWAII

Pursuant to Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, sealed bids shall be RECEIVED ELECTRONICALLY and recorded immediately via the Public Purchase System until 2:00 PM (Hawaii Standard Time), on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Bids shall be submitted via the Public Purchase System, otherwise the bids shall not be opened or considered. Bids received after the date and time stated above will also not be considered.

The Project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment as necessary to: relocation of the existing Kula Agriculture Park Booster Pump Station, as operated by the County of Maui Department of Water Supply (DWS) in Kula, Maui.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 via Webex teleconferencing. Following the meeting, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 29th, 2024, a site visit will be conducted and interested parties shall meet at Kula Agricultural Park. Interested parties requesting to attend the meeting or site visit are required to provide notification of attendance by email to Agriculture@co.maui.hi.us at least THREE (3) days prior to the designated date.

Bid documents for this project are available through a web-based e-procurement system. To view and download bid documents you will need to follow instructions described at www.co.maui.hi.us/DocumentCenter/View/91025. Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering “A” Contractor’s License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening.

Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the “County of Maui”, and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended.

Bidders are required to comply with the newest procurement code Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 103D, any rules and regulations and policy directives issued with respect to Chapter 103D, and any amendments thereof.
