*Online registration for Winter Fun Program to begin Nov. 15*

LĪHU‘E – The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) announces that online registration for the county’s Winter Fun Program will begin on Friday, Nov. 15, at 8 a.m. Interested participants may register by visiting DOPR’s website, www.kauai.gov/Government/Departments-Agencies/Parks/Programs/Winter-Fun-Program [ https://www.kauai.gov/Government/Departments-Agencies/Parks/Programs/Winter-Fun-Program?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ], and click on “Online Registration”.

The program runs from Dec. 23 to Jan. 3, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on holidays. The Winter Fun Program is open to children 5 to 11 years old.

Program sites include the Kekaha, Kalāheo, and Līhu‘e neighborhood centers, and the Anahola Clubhouse. The cost of enrollment is $50 per child, and it does not include lunch.

All major credit cards will be accepted for payment, including American Express, Master Card, VISA, and Discover. In addition, debit and pre-paid credit cards will be accepted.

Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parents or guardians will need to provide lunch, beverages, and snacks for their child/children on a daily basis.
