2-hour water service shutdown on Po'ohiwi Road scheduled for Monday, Aug. 12

KALAHEO – The Department of Water (DOW) and contractor, Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. (HDCCI) has scheduled a 2-hour water service shutdown on Po’ohiwi Road to conduct repairs on a service lateral in the area. Water service will be turned off to Po’ohiwi Road on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., weather permitting.

Customers located on Po’ohiwi Road are advised to prepare for the temporary service outage by storing water to meet their needs until water service can be restored.

Water service updates will be posted online via DOW’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/KauaiDOW.
