Aug. 10 UPDATE: Despite extensive efforts by the Kaua‘i Police Department, Kaua‘i Search and Rescue, and the Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement, Wagner has not yet been located. KPD suspended the search, which has been ongoing since Thursday, pending any new information regarding Wagner’s whereabouts.

As of today, the area previously restricted for search operations around Kuamo‘o Road near Keahua Arboretum has been reopened to the public.

Anyone with information that could assist in locating Wagner is urged to contact KPD Dispatch at 808-241-1711.

*KPD requests public’s help locating missing Kapa‘a man*

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing adult male.

Dylan Wagner, a 25-year-old of Kapa’a, was last seen on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024. His vehicle was found parked unattended on Kuamo‘o Road near Keahua Arboretum, in the area commonly referred to as Loop Road. KPD is being assisted by the Kaua’i Search and Rescue, the Kaua‘i Fire Department, and the Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement.

The parking lot area beyond the first crossing at Keahua Arboretum is closed for public use and is currently being utilized by law enforcement. The public is requested to stay out of the area while the active search is underway. Wagner is 6 feet tall, weighs approximately 170 pounds, has a fair complexion, green eyes and short curly brown hair. 

Anyone with information about Wagner’s whereabouts is urged to call KPD Dispatch at 808-241-1711. Those wishing to remain anonymous can provide information by calling Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i at 808-246-8300, submitting a tip at cskauai.org, or through the Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i P3 Tips Mobile App.
