*County announces holiday closures*

LĪHU‘E – In observance of Independence Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4.

Officials also announce the following holiday closures:


* All refuse transfer stations;
* The Kekaha Landfill;
* All neighborhood centers;
* The Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
* All HI5 redemption centers; and
* The Kaua‘i Resource Center (composting bins, batteries, fluorescent lights, reuse).

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Friday, July 5.
