*Immediate water conservation request issued for Omao-Koloa until further notice* 

KOLOA –The Department of Water (DOW) has issued an immediate water conservation notice to customers in Omao and Koloa towns until further notice, due to a mechanical failure on the water system’s pump station.  Customers are advised to limit water use to essential needs only to avoid a water service outage. 

Water conservation measures include turning off appliances and fixtures that automatically draw water such as ice machines and irrigations systems, limiting water use to sanitation needs, cooking or drinking and refraining from recreational water uses.
