Water service shutdown on Eha Street scheduled for Aug. 28

LIHUE – The Department of Water and contractor, Pipe Works has scheduled a water service shutdown on Eha Street on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting to conduct new fire line and service lateral work.

Customers located in the service area are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking the following steps: 


* Store water to meet your needs until water service can be safely restored. 
* Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown. 
* Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that water heaters do not empty during the shutdown.
