I work in the tour industry. Compared to people from other countries, Japanese people tip extremely little. Perhaps it is because you don't know, but I have lived in the U.S. for a long time and sometimes I don't like the fact that Japanese people don't have a good reputation. I will write this in reference to the tips I myself pay in Hawaii or when I go abroad. By the way, I am not particularly rich and have a normal income ＆ When I act with my foreign friends, the other party is also like this.

restaurant （ sit down meal ） ＝ 20%, at least 15% if service is slow or something
pick up of hoardings or drinks at a take-out store ＝ ＄ 0 to lowest option （ 10, 1 5% or $1, etc., depending on terminal ）
Valet car rental, etc. at hotel （ Tipping staff for valet services ＝ $5 to

I have completed my OPT and received my nursing license. So even if I find a job, I cannot work immediately because I do not have a work permit. I expect it will probably take at least 6 months for it to take effect. For this reason, I am considering transferring to another language school to maintain my visa until I find a job, but as an alternative plan, I am wondering if I can return to Japan once I find a job and stay in Japan until my work permit is issued. I am planning to return to Japan temporarily.
I am not sure when I will be back in Hawaii next and I don't want to waste money on rent, so
I am considering cancelling my apartment contract and storing my belongings in a storage unit before returning to Japan.
I have no experience with self storage and would like to hear from those who have used it.
Please let me know if you recommend this storage facility in Honolulu, or if you recommend not to use this facility, or if you have any stories of mistakes that happened when you left your belongings at this facility.
