In "Claim Inquiry" in UI account, the following message appears in the account balance section.

The benefit year ends 9/●/2022 and this claim is invalid due to an invalid monetary determination.
When I contacted the call center today, they told me that they are in the process of retrieving past income data and that it will take 7 to 10 days to complete the process.

If the following message is displayed on the yellow screen for those who have been "temporarily laid off" or "shortened working hours" and are still registered at their workplace, please click on Update Employment and try to enter the information.
↓
Additional filing required. you reported a separation with an employer. please update your claim within 7 days from today. Update Employment.

If the message does not disappear after clicking and typing, please ask the call center to check.

When I applied for my first Initial Claim last spring, I selected the status of "Full Termination" when it should have been "Temporary Termination", and many people, including locals, later corrected the status.

This is just a guess, but it may be a "glitch" that some of the data from the first Initial Claim application before the correction was made was left in the UI office system.

The requirements for a second Initial Claim application after September must meet the following. ① to ④

① The benefit end year date of your most recent regular UI claim must have passed

② You must have returned to work and been paid at least 5 times your new weekly benefit amount since the first day of your prior initial claim

③ You You must have been paid wages in at least two quarters of your base period

④ You must have been employed and paid wages for insured work during the base period in an amount equal to no less than 26 times your new weekly benefit amount

If you have been temporarily laid off or become totally unemployed due to the pandemic and have never worked since unemployment insurance benefits began If you have not worked, it is very unlikely that your second Initial Claim application will be approved after September, as officially announced by the UI Office.

Those who have been receiving unemployment insurance benefits while working part-time or shorter hours are also expected to be disqualified or receive a small WBA if they file a second Initial Claim after September.

Also, if you are in the PEUC program and have started receiving benefits under the new WBA on your second Initial Claim application, your unemployment insurance will completely expire after up to 26 weeks of benefits （ The Benefit Year End deadline is not relevant. ） .
