Your entitlement period will not be extended because of your complete layoff, but you will be entitled to receive unemployment insurance under the same WBA for one year from the date you first applied for and were approved. You will be entitled to receive the same WBA for a period of one year from the date you first apply for and are approved.

In the case of the 11-week PEUC extension, if the Benefit Year End deadline falls while you are receiving PEUC, you will still be entitled to keep the same WBA with the Benefit Year End deadline extended until the end of your PEUC receipt period. Probably the same for the 13 weeks of PEUC.

If you are not registered, your unemployment insurance may be delayed," the UI office urged.
