We will have a 49th day in Hawaii for a relative who passed away in Japan at Hongwanji next month. There will be only two participants, a husband and wife.
We have already paid an offering at Hongwanji temple in Japan, but if we have it done in Hawaii, how much should we pay ？ Since our relative died in Japan and we cannot attend, we will have it done at the same Hongwanji temple.

I recently applied for a Lee Entry Permit (waiting for fingerprinting), but I found out that if I am outside the US for more than 6 months after obtaining a Lee Entry Permit, I will no longer be eligible to apply for citizenship.
