I am the one who gave you an update on the status of your application the other day, and I am happy to report that your application has finally been accepted.
I hope this will be helpful to everyone.
I applied on October 7 and had a 5 week claim pending since October 10. I called for the third time 2 days ago and told them that I had waited 2 weeks since I last called and nothing had changed. I also told them that I had emailed them and they said they would take care of it right away.
And this morning I was able to confirm that the 5 week PENDING has changed to PROCESSED.
Everyone seems to have received their letters, but I have not received mine yet.
Backdated for October 3 was also backdated and I just applied for it.

Hi, I wrote a disappointing post in another thread
I got through to the office today

Oct 7 ： I applied for PEUC
Oct 29 ： I called to confirm and get an escalation.
Nov 12 ： （ I called today ） and was told

"I don't see any paperwork deficiencies in your claim, so there is nothing I can do" （ What ？ ！ ）
No, no, no, no, no, I'm not going to say that, I've been struggling to find a job for a month and a half now without a transfer ！ and I'm not going to bite back
"I understand, but we all are working hard as much as we can, you just need to wait."
I was disappointed 、、、、

Thank you so much for sharing your valuable information. I knew it would take almost a month. The time lag was also very helpful. I will share this information with the responsible team. I would like to add that LWA and PEUC are two separate procedures that proceed separately, so just because you are getting an LWA does not necessarily mean that the PEUC approval process is moving forward.

I am really disappointed with the temporary staff. You may want to re-attempt another temporary staff member. I wish you a speedy resolution.

I was in the same situation with the same application date, so I can sympathize with your feelings.
As Sunset said, I think it is better to attack again to another staff member. I also felt that the first two times I called the staff seemed to be temporary staff who could not do anything, but the person who helped me two days ago moved quickly and had a quick understanding of the situation, so I feel that he or she was familiar with the staff and was not a temporary person. My impression was that it depends a lot on the person in charge of the other party who answered the phone. Perhaps it would be better for you to call several times and make a decision based on how the person you are dealing with is doing.

Hello, I have applied for PEUC on Sept. 21 and it is still PENDING.

I applied for PEUC on Sept 21 and still pending.
Benefit year is from Sept 13th
I am already pending for 9weeks now.

I have called customer service several times and all I am told is to wait. 3 weeks ago I was told that someone higher up in customer service would call me back but they never did so I called yesterday and was told it would take about another month to call me back.

Emails have not been returned,
I have emailed the councilman and he has not returned my emails, and I have written to the UI office and there is no resolution.

Is there anything I can do?
