My status is
PEUC balance is zero as of yesterday
PEUC due date is 12/29/2020

Login went smoothly.

Until yesterday, PEUC expired 12/29/2020. 2020, but
I opened Claim Inquiry for the first time in a day after the EB20 applique, and the date at the top of the PEUC table was changed to 9/20/2020-3/14/2021

Your benefit year ends today, 12/29/2020, and you already have 0 PEUC remaining.

I know many of you are wondering if you should apply for EB20 today, but since the time limit is almost up, I will share what I just talked to on the phone （ just now on the main UI office number ）.
The person who answered was very friendly and listened to me very well, so I knew I could trust her.

My situation ； PEUC already has 0 balance as of week of 12/12, Benefit year ends today 12/29/2020,
Original UI benefit year ends 3/14/2021

1 ） First, I asked them to change benefit year ends to March, but they can't do that.
（ I also told them that my friend was able to get it changed ）
But the original （ UI end date ） is March and that is fine （ When I asked for the change, they said it was already in March. 12 /29 with PEUC benefit end date ）.

2 ） I asked if appling to EB20 after 12/29 would cause problems with the system. There was no clear answer to that question, so it may be possible to get an error.
（ But that doesn't mean that you will not be able to applique to EB20, so there seems to be no need to worry ）

As a result, it is your decision whether to applique to EB20 or wait for the PEUC extension
as before It seems that people are no longer being told that EB20 is the only option for those with 0 remaining.
I was also under the impression that there might be a possibility of a PEUC extension. （ UI staff is not clear on this ）

If you still have a balance, you don't have to rush to apply for EB20 today, even if the benefit year ends on 12/29/2020.
For now, I will not apply for EB20 today and wait for the official announcement.
