That is correct. If your income does not exceed $150, you will be paid. At the same time, if you work 40 hours per week and do not exceed your WBA and show "Disqualified," you will receive unemployment insurance.

If you earn more than $150 but less than your WBA, it will be deducted using the $150 calculation method. Please read the "How much unemployment insurance do you receive when you start working part time?" topic for the $150 calculation method and points to keep in mind. The handbook also explains the $150 calculation method.

The $150 calculation method is as follows.

WBA is $648
Income earned per week is $200
↓
$200 - $150 ＝ $50
$648 -$50 ＝ $598
↓
As a result, $598 is the amount paid for the week. If the income does not exceed $150, the WBA will be paid $648 as is.
