Dear SUNSET and everyone,

We and our friends around us, taking all the information we knew as of the DEAD LINE date of December 29,
decided that it was best to apply for EB20 as of the 29th, and we slipped and applied for EB20.
Then, in January, after the new year, I decided to choose PEUC2 after all,
by combining all the information that was gradually coming out, although it lacked speed and accuracy.
Since the beginning of January, I kept waiting for a phone call from the UI Office [to choose EB20 or PEUC2], but
there was no phone call from the UI Office, no reply, no information, and
I even received a letter from them [to cancel EB20 and choose PEUC2] in a sealed envelope. I also wrote a letter to the UI OFFICE to cancel the EB20 and choose PEUC2,
but nothing happened. ・ ・ ・ and today, January 31st morning, I sent an email to the UI OFFICE
[stating clearly that I want to CANCEL EB20 and choose PEUC2].
In that email, I also added that 'December 29th should have been the deadline,
and I also added a sentence

that I did not understand in the CLAIM INQUIRY of my UI PAGE that I LOG IN, The This claim is currently inactive. as of 01/31/2021 you have been paid $ XXXX* and have a balance of $ △ △ △ △ available.
* This does not include any special payments. inactive" and asked what the sentence "This claim is currently inactive"" means.
*The amounts for ＄ XXXX and ＄ △ △ △ △ in the above sentence were the same.
It can be inferred from that that ＄ XXXX and ＄ △ △ △ △ amounts are the same, which means that
the amount is equivalent to 13 weeks of weekly payments, so ・ the person's wishes were automatically mechanically I think it is possible that the amount may have been assigned to EB20 ・ ・ ・ mechanically.
In any case, I received an AUTOMATIC REPLY EXTERNAL MAIL from the UI OFFICE this morning stating that they received the Email we sent, so
I think I have a history of expressing my intentions.
Perhaps you and the team responsible for LOCAL and SUNSET are discussing [the inconsistency of separating by 28 days] and
situations like this comment of ours as a major topic of discussion.

I applied for EB20 on Dec 29th and am in the exact same situation.
The amount for 13 weeks is available, so I just clicked on reactivate a claim to try it out,
I couldn't proceed until the other day, but today I can select a reason.
So I thought ？ that means EB20 is approved and I can file a claim.
I feel
unreasonable that they are not giving me the option even though I called and emailed them in mid-January to change to a PEUC extension.
I was last bi-weekly with a December 19 deadline, so the shortest EB20 application was 29 days.
I'm not convinced that I'm missing from the web of relief
I'm not giving up yet, I'm going to try my hand.

We too had our 1st PEUC CLAIM Exhausted （ ZERO ） as of the December 19, 2020 close and
applied for EB20 on December 29, last minute, exactly the same as Maruko. SITUATION.
People like Maruko who applied for EB20 on the last minute （ with the understanding that 29th was the DEAD LINE, ） including myself,
did not receive a call to choose between EB20 or PEUC2, and our request to cancel EB20 and choose PEUC2 was ignored.
and
the email reply from the UI OFFICE when I applied for EB20, it was not a CONFIRMATION that my EB20 application was approved, but a CONFIRMATION that my application was accepted
and I was told that the result of my application would be sent to me by MAIL （. You will receive a MAIL document ） regarding the result of your application." I am very doubtful and angry that I have not received any letter （ or document ） from the UI OFFICE, yet
I can assume that my UI SYSTEM has been transferred to EB20.
We will keep an eye on the response to the email we sent to the UI OFFICE.

I don't think we need to worry too much since many people are not able to file even if they have used up their PEUC 13 week account balance and UI account balance. once the PEUC 11 week extension is introduced to the system. I think the movement will change again. However, there are indications that the wait for the system to be implemented will be further extended, which is a real problem.
