This is Sandy who wrote in #160.

I miraculously got through to UI this morning after about 2 months and asked what the problem was and was told it was Overpayment.
I was told to wait for the Adjudicator to check my Claim and get a Letter, I asked how long I would have to wait and was told "I don't know about that. I asked how long I have to wait and was told "I don't know.
I've been waiting for over 4 months already ・ ・ ・.

It's a good thing for now that I know just what is going on with my Claim.

Today's video interview with UI director Anne mentioned Overpayment in the video, which I will share in the next thread. It looks like they are finally getting serious about it.

My personal guess is that they received considerable guidance from the federal Labor Department, which investigated the Examiner and Adjuster arrangements. I sincerely and strongly hope that those who are having trouble receiving their benefits due to the lengthy PEUC approval process with Overpayment will reach a resolution as soon as possible.

For those of you who have Overpayment,
for those of you who have extended your PEUC 11 weeks,

I have shared below a very clear summary of the key points regarding today's video interview with UI Director Anne （.

① New balances were added on Feb 16 for 30,000 applicants （ ＝ MD ） . First round groups that have not yet had new balances added should contact the call sweater; we will be working on MDs for a total of 68,000, including 30,000 applicants.

1st Round:
Those who used up their PEUC 13-week extension account balance before December 26 and chose to extend for PEUC 11 weeks

2nd Round:
On or after December 26 Those who have exhausted their PEUC 13-week extension account balance and have chosen the PEUC 11-week extension

② The "PENDING DECISION AS YOUR CLAIM WAS FILED UNTIMELY" display is a systemic phenomenon. Do not worry, it will disappear spontaneously without any action.

③ Together with our newly hired staff （ Adjuster staff ）, we will be working on the overpayment process. If you have an overpayment, please be sure to pick up the phone from the UI office.

Anne said that she is concerned about applicants who have been waiting for 13-week PEUC extensions for the last year due to overpayment. If you have an Overpayment, we recommend that you register all phone numbers of the UI office on your smart phone.

④ Do not submit a second application after the Benefit Year End deadline. However, if the WBA can be calculated on the second application, the second application will be accepted instead of the Benefit Year End extension.

In the meantime, we recommend that you never submit a second Application. If you get a systemic "Please submit a second Application" message, I strongly recommend that you contact the call center first to see if they can systematically extend the Benefit Year End deadline. For security reasons, we have no plans to open a visiting UI office window at all. If we do, your unemployment insurance may be delayed.
