Yesterday's ＃ 134 [about the rollover] is a really surprising development, but also good news for me.
Now I can finally calm down and wait for the introduction of the PEUC 11 week extension.

Just to confirm one thing,
Am I correct in understanding that at this time, all EB20 applications after 13 weeks of PEUC after 12/13 will be rolled over to the 11-week PEUC extension ？ （ Is it correct that it is meaningless to apply for EB20 now? ？ ）

I am ＃ 84 ③ in 12/19 （ Disqualify ） due to zero balance, 12/26 （ not even able to input ） 2 weeks I've been stuck with the blanks...EB20 will give me retroactive benefits, but not if I choose the PEUC 11-week extension...

＃ In 134, it says 'It seems that the process is to apply for EB20 after being rolled over and using up the account balance for the PEUC 11-week extension.

In my case, the Benefit Year End is 3/14/21, so the Maximum week is 63 weeks. （ I will end on 3/14/21 even if the Maximum week is 63 weeks ） I don't think I can apply for EB20 after the benefit is paid.

I think the situation may change again after 3/14/21 and there may be an extension of Benefit Year End.

If the 11-week PEUC extension is applied and the 2-week gap is not retroactive, I would be happy if you could inform the responsible team that people in the same situation as me （ ） who have a few weeks left until Benefit Year End may not be able to receive benefits. I called the UI office yesterday around 2:00 before I received any new information.
I called to ask if I would have to apply for PEUC again in that case
because after much agonizing I decided to opt for the PEUC extension even if I don't get paid for a week.
I don't know when, but they told me to wait
because once I log in, I will be able to apply for PEUC extension. In addition, I had a zero balance for my 12/19 payment, so I asked
if I extend my PEUC, I won't get it for the 12/26 deadline ？ and they said
I will get it after waiting for a while.
I thought it might be a mistake with EB20 ？ so I asked again twice
but they said I could get it.
I was going to call again later and post here
if other staff said I could get it, but after seeing the new information and asumi60's post
I decided to share what I was told yesterday.

If you applied for EB20 after the official announcement from the end of the year,
I think you applied because you want to have your blank weeks back paid.
I'm not convinced
that they will roll over from EB20 to PEUC extension and that the blank weeks cannot be backdated, so I thought maybe ？ what the staff
said yesterday was correct.
I know the answer often differs from one staff member to another, so we'll just have to wait
for the UI office to make an announcement now.

Looking at this official announcement, it clearly states "will have a gap in benefits amount" if a person who has exhausted their PEUC account balance prior to the December 19 deadline chooses the "PEUC 11 week extension". That's right. I have a feeling this is what you mean by the December 19th and 26th deadlines. I think it means, "As long as the PEUC total does not exceed 24 weeks, we will cover it with the March 20 and 27 deadlines." I think that is what he meant. The PEUC 11 week extension is a Corona Unemployment Insurance program, and unlike EB20, it is a general unemployment insurance program equivalent to the original UI. According to page 5 of this document that the responsible team just shared with me, "If the Benefit Year End changes, PEUC can continue to be paid, but EB20 will stop being paid and revert back to UI" （ If it reverts back to UI, I am sure the WBA will drop dramatically. I think there is no doubt about it ） . The team responsible for the UI office in Hawaii is not sure how to tackle this document, and you two may want to check with the call center to see if the 11 week PEUC extension and EB20 will continue to be paid after the Benefit Year End changes!

Regarding the job search you mentioned in #106,
you mentioned that you are on a job search rule exemption in Pandemic,
is there anywhere that you can confirm that you are still on the exemption now that we are in 2021 ？
. I was concerned because in the Staradvitiser article, the proclamation that included waiving the job search was through the end of December. I was concerned because it said.
I also read the Governor's December proclamation myself, but it says that it is discretionary with the DLIR Director and does not seem to accurately state that the job search waive is being extended by DLIR.

Actually, like Mr. Mercury, I was going to give up without benefits for the blank week （ between PEUC 13 weeks and the 11 week extension ） and wait for the PEUC 11 week extension.
But when I saw Mercury's post earlier, I was a little hopeful that I might get it ？ and then I saw Sunset's post after that and was again a little disappointed that it might not be that easy.

As Mercury said, many of you must have appliied to EB20 after worrying about it for the blank period benefit.
I would like to see an explanation because I would not be satisfied if I applied to EB20 after 12/13 and it was automatically rolled over to the PEUC 11 week extension and I would not get the gap period benefit after all.

I wonder if those who do not wish to rollover
① wait for EB20 approval for the 11-week PEUC extension
② applique to EB20 now
