本土からfedexでかかる日数について

先日インターネットショッピングで化粧品を買いました。
店舗からの購入で発送元はオハイオ、郵送は、fedexです。
到着予定が３週間後になってますが、実際このように日数がかかるのでしょうか？
アマゾンでは到着日よりも早く届くことの方が多かったのですが、どれもUSPSもしくはUPSでした。
小さな物が発送後到着に３週間は始めてです
fedexは特別到着が遅いのでしょうか？
