乳児を連れての里帰りについて

1歳未満の赤ちゃんを連れて里帰りをします。
小児科では生後1ヶ月から渡航可能と言われました。
でも実際のところ、赤ちゃんへの負担は大きいのでしょうか。
また、赤ちゃんを連れての機内8時間を乗り切るのにオススメな事など皆さんの経験談をお聞かせください。

仕事柄、乳幼児連れフライトのケースを多く見ているものです。
医師の中でも赤ちゃんのフライトに関しては意見が分かれますが、生後10日からでも大丈夫と言う人もいますので、最終的には親御さんの判断によると思います。

私が実際に見てきた赤ちゃん(生後１ヶ月前後の子が多い)は、フライト中殆ど寝ていて、逆に１歳、２歳の子の方がお子さん自身も辛そうです(動きたくても動けない、普段と環境が違って眠れない等)。
飛行機に乗って病気になったり、具合が悪くなったと言うのは私は存じ上げません。

離着陸時にミルクを飲ませる、空気抜きが上手くできてなくて痛がっている様子(私はまだ一度も遭遇してないですが)なら、耳を温めてあげてみてください。

お話を聞いて少し安心しました。
耳を温めるというのは、温かいおしぼりとかで温めるのでしょうか。
