アメリカ本土からハワイに引っ越したかたはどこを使いましたか?
引越しをするにあたって、色々調べていますが、
USPSのフラットレートが一番安いのか、他にどこかありますか?
内容は衣類、布団、生活用品などもろもろです。
あと、現地で物は買ったほうが良いのか、のちに色々買うくらいなら、
送ってしまった方がいいのでしょうか。
ベッドとかは現地で購入した方がいいんでしょうか?
IKEAがないので、悩んでいます。。

私達も、昨年ロスから引っ越してきました。
１）荷物の発送
UPSを考えているのであれば、余り荷物は多くないのでしょうね。
Bedを送ると成ると、本土の乙仲業者（日通など）を使ったほうが安いと
思います。 ちなみに、私は、４０フィートコンティナー満載で送り、
乙仲は、Japan Expressと言う業者に御願いをしました。
見積もりを取るにしても、ある程度梱包を済ませないと送料価格は、
出て来ませんよ。
２）ハワイ現地で購入するものと本土購入する物
基本的に、趣味（色・形）を優先する物、例えば、カーテン/リネン/
照明器具などは、価格・選択肢を考えると本土で購入がBetter。
ハワイは、とにかく、選択肢が少ないので、困っています。
用途を重視で大きいもの＝マットレスなどは、ハワイ。
それから、趣味は有るが、妥協でき、購入後、修理（保証）などが
出て来る電化製品は、ハワイで購入することをお勧めします。

ハワイは選択肢が少ないのですね・・
やはり島国だからなのでしょうか。
私のイメージでは、ハワイは物価が高い上に品物は似たり寄ったりという感じがします。
まぁ、生活用品はそこまで凝らなくてもいいか、と思わせるのがハワイの魅力なのだとは思いますが。
