BILT credit card arrived in less than a week （ Heavy as Amex Black card ； ）

HOAFEE has also been processed for automatic debit ！

It will be automatically debited from April.

Even though it is a credit card, it has a routing number and account number just like a bank

I am so happy that I can have automatic debit for HOAFEE as well as for rent.

I joined BILT with a regular Rent payment, but I will record it for future reference.

Payment is via a platform called Appfolio.
The payment is made via ACH because it is not BILT Alliance.
When I entered my account information in Appfolio, I entered my First Name, Last Name as Account Holder and Checking as Account Type as Personal Account.
By the way, when I asked this question in BILT chat, I got a reply in seconds. I was surprised at the speed and accuracy of the reply.
Since I activated BiltProtect, I think it is treated as a Debit payment and will be deducted directly from my bank account.

And I just received a notice from both Appfolio and BILT that the payment has been processed. I was nervous because it was my first payment with BILT, but it looks like it went through.
Appfolio has recently started taking the ACH fee ($ 2.49€), which was not covered by the BILT fee waiver, but was charged here.

Minimum use of BILT （ 5 times ） but I will digest 4 times, excluding Rent payments, in small amounts for me （ because I have other main cards ）.
For example, Amazon gift card charge can be done from $1 per transaction （ It seems to start from $5 if you schedule it ） .
If I can't make very small purchases, I'll charge them to Amazon while I digest the frequency.

There seems to have been an information leak at Wells Fargo, the card issuer, around last year, but it seems to be under control now.
Just to be safe, I have set up my Wells Fargo online account so that I will be contacted when I go online or $ spend more than 10.

I will figure out how to use the points now.

Nice to meet you ！ I have two children attending MCS, my oldest daughter took Punahou two years ago at G5 (5th grade ） and my oldest son is now attending MCS at G5.
My oldest son is also at Punahou starting in August.
To answer your question, MCS is up to G6 （ 6th grade ） as you mentioned. Therefore, the results that MCS publishes are the results of the children who have remained in G6.
MCS has one elementary class per grade, with roughly 20 to 22 students.
In fact, more than half of the children take Punahou or Iolani at G5, and less than half of the children stay on to G6 each year.
This year, 14 of my classmates who took the G5 exam, including my oldest son, were accepted to Punahou.
Of the 14 who were accepted to Punahou, 9 will go to Punahou and 5 to Iolani.

Most of my classmates who stayed until G6 also went to Punahou and Iolani, so as a result, most of the kids I grew up with at MCS Elementary will be reunited at Punahou and Iolani

I am currently attending the school. What I appreciate most is that almost all of the teachers can understand Japanese. As a Japanese family, it is great to be able to communicate with the teachers, and my child enjoys going to the school without feeling any barrier of Japanese ・ or English. Whenever I talk to the teachers, I know that they truly care about my child. I think the tuition is a good deal when you look at the ratio of time they take care of your child.
The only drawback is the location. If it were a little closer to Town, it would be easier to attend.

I'm commenting because when my second son was little, he had a tick allergy that was just awful and very annoying, so I thought it might be helpful to combine it with my own experience.

When I was staying with a homestay family in CA, I was bitten by insects every night while I slept and it itched like crazy, but that was because the fleas that were parasitic on my pets were breeding in my bed.
By the way, the bite was small, red and swollen, and the itch and the mark did not disappear for several weeks.
I have also been bitten by padworms （ and bed bugs ） but these are much larger than flea bites and are quite red and swollen and very itchy after a plumping sting.
Neither of these stings ever went away, the itching disappearing in half a day.

In my second son's case, the ticks did not itch （ but rather seemed to react by entering his body through his mouth or nose with the dead bodies ） rather than stinging him, and he suffered from extreme sneezing and congestion.
I bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter and carefully vacuumed the bed and carpets daily. I also covered the mattress with a waterproof ＆ tick prevention cover. This alone seems to make a big difference.
We also changed the pillows to plastic ones like buckwheat hulls （ and the pillows seem to be quite important ）, and we washed and sunbathed stuffed toys and other items in the room that might harbor ticks once before packing them in plastic bags for storage.

As for the air conditioner filter, I think you can do it yourself if you just wash it lightly （ My husband does it once every few months ）, if you want deep cleaning, it might be safer to ask a contractor.
When our family just recently got an estimate, I remember being told that it would be about $100-$150 ？ per machine.

The air conditioner cleaning company I contacted is a regular electrician （ who also installs air conditioners and apparently offers cleaning services along the way ）.
