I am surprised that there are professionals in Hawaii
who will yell at you and tell you not to come because they will cut your clients in half.

Furthermore, many do not understand that it is not the skill of a professional to minimize the amount of income tax
paid, but rather to leave it all up to the CPA to prepare a return with the lowest payment possible
as if he/she were a competent CPA.
I am surprised at the number of people who understand that it is a competent CPA to prepare a tax return with as little payment as possible.
Currently, the IRS audit process is slow because of Corona, but
if it goes back to the way it was, your return will be reviewed in detail, and those who are self-employed and file a negative return
will receive a letter of review, so
if you are asking your CPA or other CPA to prepare your return, you should leave it to them. If you are a self-employed taxpayer and have a negative tax return , you will receive a letter of examination.

Finally,
even if a CPA prepares your return, the CPA is not a beneficiary
and the IRS will not punish the CPA
even if the return is prepared by the CPA. I have contacted the IRS many times
on behalf of my clients regarding the contents of their returns, but the IRS will not talk to anyone but the filer, and
the CPA will not be punished for tax evasion. So please understand that we can prepare any
tax return for you.
Otherwise, I hope you understand
that it would be strange if there were not more CPAs who had their ricenses taken away.

The conclusion is that the day before is ok.
I heard that the paper says 24 hours in advance
but the airline told me that the day before is ok.

The PCR test was done at Kapiolani at 8:30 Saturday morning and the results were emailed to me Sunday morning.

Immediately after receiving the email, I went to Straub's in the Sheraton Hotel (? I went to the Strub Workshop in the Sheraton Hotel to fill out the Japanese language format.
Filling out the form was free of charge.
It seems to be included in the fee at Kapiolani Hospital.

I returned home temporarily in the summer for my children's summer vacation. I had a negative certificate issued by St. Luke's.
We were on a Haneda flight, but once you arrive in Japan, you will be asked several times at the airport to confirm your travel documents, etc. I recommend that you keep all the necessary documents in a file case so that you can get them out quickly. There will also be an inspection for an app to check your whereabouts during your voluntary quarantine in Japan, so don't forget to download the necessary app. And since you will be forced to walk endlessly from inspection area to inspection area at the airport, it is best to keep your carry-on luggage as light as possible. We packed our carry-on luggage in carry-on cases and let the children carry them, while I prepared the necessary documents, cell phones, passports, etc. for the number of people in our party. It took about three and a half hours from the time we arrived at the airport to the time we met the family who would pick us up. You still need negative proof when you return to Hawaii, and you will be issued a Hawaii state form at a Hawaii state-designated clinic. I heard that lawn clinics in Tokyo are cheaper, but since my parents live in a rural area, I decided to go to a local Hawaii state-designated clinic since it was cheaper for me to go to Tokyo and stay at a local clinic considering the transportation and lodging costs. It was a big expense since it was 32,000 yen per person and it was for my family, but I couldn't go back last year and I am glad I took the plunge. On the way back, the airline staff we used at Haneda checked our negative certificates, and we were able to get out of the Honolulu airport easily and crisply, faster than normal, just by showing our boarding passes to the staff at the airport.

If you have a negative certificate designated by the State of Hawaii, there is no voluntary quarantine once you arrive in Hawaii, but it is recommended that you keep a copy of your negative certificate for travel at work or school for a while instead of throwing it away.

I used JAL, but the Kinoshita group was fine.
The JAL staff advised us to ask them to handwrite the date of birth and passport number on the Kinoshita Group certificate at the time of inspection, as they are not written on the certificate.
