I am also waiting for Peuc approval since October with overpayment.
I have not been able to claim certify either. I am currently furloughing.
I received a phone call last week and a letter a few days later and sent a check. A few more days later I got a message on my cell phone saying that they need to make some adjustments and that I should file for another UI week to get my balance to zero.
I received a conformation saying please reactivate your claim as soon as possible.

When I tried to Reactivate it said Partial backdate:
As a partially unemployed individual, your reactivation may be backdated up to 28 days from the week you filed this application. Would you like to request backdating if you qualify? ？ I will try to call you on Tuesday, but I'm getting stressed out, so I'll ask here too.

Please be assured that you can do all backdates.

If you apply for Reactivate a Claim, the system may only allow you to do it for 28 days, so you may want to hold off until you can contact the UI office.

And here's a suggestion, try sending a backdate request to the email contact for Language, with the dates you want to backdate lined up in the listings, and if you have a Fax machine, send a Fax at the same time. Then keep calling until you get a reply by e-mail.

If you attach the following screenshots of the Claim Inquiry and the Claim Inquiry section to your email and fax, the UI office will be able to see at a glance which of the claims are not backdateable and why you are hesitating to backdate them.

I started PEUC claim on 12/19, and it has been pending for 4 weeks since then. Yesterday, I completed the 5th week claim and today, when I checked my status, I found that the past 4 weeks were Processed. I thought it was because the process was being held up due to the partial reopening of the office, so I did not contact the UI office, but just kept submitting claims and waiting, just like sunset and everyone else said.

I understand that your colleagues are concerned about you, and you are not happy about it. If your English-speaking colleagues have Facebook, I would suggest that you share the "Hawaii Unempoyment Updates&Support Group" with them.

I also refer to some of this group. A large number of questions are answered and suggestions are made. However, sometimes there is incorrect information or rumors mixed in, so I check for accuracy before posting to the Vivinavi Topic.
