I am about to renew my green card, but at any rate, the last time was 10 years ago, so I don't remember anything. I am worried that if I make a mistake, it will be a hassle.
First of all, how do I basically renew it myself ？ And I am sure it will take an unbelievable amount of time to get it in my hands, but I will definitely go to Japan during the renewal process. Or there may be an emergency return to Japan in case of emergency.
Can I go out of the U.S. and come back while renewing ？ or do I have to go through some procedures ？

How to renew by myself.
Can I apply for a special application to leave and return outside the US at the same time of renewal ？ If so, how ？

I know many people send family photos as cards this time of year, but where do you order your cards ？
I ordered mine from Walgreens and received an email with a Redy for pick up, but the store said they had no information about my order. I asked several times, but eventually I did the refund myself.
