The process is very simple. Just enter your full name and email address and click "Submit Email" at the bottom of the page. There is no need to enter any personal information such as social security number or address. I just submitted mine.

If you are exempt from the State Tax, I think it would help you a lot. Please encourage your family, friends and colleagues to fill out the form.

[PEUC Program]

The Unemployment Insurance Help Team has contacted me to share （ 1 ） through （ 8 ）. Some of this is duplicated from what I shared recently.

The following explanation is for the PEUC program; it is unclear at this time if the same rules will apply to original UI who have been receiving the program for nearly a year for shorter hours or other reasons.

（ 1 ） If the difference between the "current WBA" and the "WBA on the second Initial Application" is $25 or more, you can choose to maintain your current WBA. → For example, if the current WBA is $500 and the WBA on the 2nd Application is $480, the difference will be $20 and you will be "eligible for 2nd Application".

（ 2 ） If you receive an email around the time the Benefit Year End expires, please follow the guidance in the email. Don't forget to check your spam folder as well.

（ 3 ） If a new balance for the September extension is automatically added, it means that the PEUC September extension has been extended. → That does not necessarily mean that the Benefit Year End deadline will be extended at the same time. Please read （ 4 ） , （ 5 ） , （ 6 ） below for more information.

（ 4 ） If your Benefit Year End expires earlier than March 14, please "Check Your Email" or "Check the UI System to see if your Benefit Year End expiration date was automatically extended. Please do so.

（ 5 ） If Benefit Year End expires after March 14, please "Check Email" or "Check UI System to see if Benefit Year End expired automatically extended".

（ 6 ） If the Benefit Year End expiration date is automatically extended, it will be extended for one quarter, which is three months. At the end of the first quarter, the UI office will again review the account and decide whether to "automatically extend the Benefit Year End for another three months" or "instruct the applicant to submit a second Initial Application".

（ 7 ） If your Benefit Year End has not been automatically extended and you have not received an email even though you have newly added the balance for the September extension, do not rush to contact the call center. If your Benefit Year End has not been automatically extended and you have not received an email, please do not contact the call center.

（ 8 ） If you have no PEUC balance and no new balance has been added and you have not even received an email, please contact the call center.

At first glance, this may seem like a harrowing experience every 3 months, but as mentioned in （ 1 ） the "$25 difference rule" makes it unlikely that you will have a troubling development where your WBA is less than half.

However, as you all know, there have been many glitches in the UI system in the past, and you should keep an eye on the UI system yourself to see if you are caught in a glitch. If there is a possibility of a glitch, please contact the call center and ask them to fix the system.
