I applied for PEUC because I had zero UI at the end of October. I filed a claim, but it came out that your funds are zero, so I decided to wait it out. Meanwhile, my LWA, which was supposed to be in for 6 weeks, didn't come in the last week, so I called them and they credited me the next week or so. When I asked about PEUC during that call, I was instructed to wait as there was no problem. I was told that my CO-WORKER was zeroed out in November, and when I applied for PEUC, I was able to claim it right away, and now I am receiving payment. When I immediately called, I was told that the application itself had been received but was pending. I was told that there was nothing I could do now but wait. I have been told that I can't even file a claim and that my application for P EUC is pending. Please let me know what you think. Please forgive me if there is any duplication of content. It seems that the speed of PEUC approval is different for each applicant. Many people assume that because they work for the same employer, they should have the same speed of approval, but this is only based on a review of each applicant's past earnings over the years and reports from their respective employers.

According to the official announcement from the UI office, the most common reason for delay is unreported or overpayment by the employer or applicant. However, in looking at various cases, we feel that the delay may be due to congestion in the waiting list for approval.

If you are told that all you can do is wait, it seems that you have to wait for approval; if you are not backdated when your PEUC is approved, ask the UI office to backdate it. It seems that there is a glitch in the UI system or something, but while waiting for PEUC approval, there seems to be a division between those who can claim and those who cannot.

Unlike the early PEUC season, the UI office now tends not to accept backdate requests while waiting for approval, so it seems we have to wait until it is approved. Please read the various situations everyone has shared in this topic and wait for approval.

Thank you for your prompt reply. It is true that the person who applied in November is an office worker so the pay scale amount is very different from mine.
When I called UI in November, the person in charge said I should receive approval in 12 ／ 4. I was pointed out very specifically to be sure to check the Portal, but the Portal has not changed as of now. One thing that has me a little concerned is that most, if not all, of the past processed UI's have been changed to processed-pending. I pointed this out when I called about the LWA in early November, so it is now back to processed. I wonder if there was some glitch glitch here ？
