minjijumbo please be sure to check with the company as to what reason they plan to report to the UI office regarding your leaving Company A. If you are switching to Company B due to the Corona effect, I think the reason is "Laid off lack of work". Also, be sure to ask the company if they are going to provide you with a labor report. If you do not confirm all of these things with the company in advance, you may find yourself in a long and complicated pending process if the report from minjijumbo and the report from the employer are different from each other.

If you worked, put the last day you worked that week. For example, if you worked on January 11 （ Monday ）, January 13 （ Wednesday ）, January 15 （ Friday ）, and Reactivate a Claim on January 17 （ Sunday ）, you would enter January 15 as Last Day Worked. If you work on Friday and Sunday , you must enter the 15th as Last Day Worked.

For furloughs, the Separation Option is "Temporary Layoff", not "Laid off Lack of Work". The "Laid off Lack of Work" option is for a complete layoff. If you have already submitted an Initial Application, please contact the UI office to have it corrected. Please see this link in Q&A of the UI system for your reference.

If it is Weekly instead of Bi-weekly, the filing deadline of January 9 has passed, so Reactivate a Claim You must apply for a Reactivate a Claim. Please read #664 and #732 in the "PEUC Unemployment Insurance 13-Week Extension Program" Topic. if it is due January 16, the filing period is from January 17 （ Sunday ） through January 23 （ Saturday ）.

I recall that the UI office renewed the option in the middle of the day. Temporary Layoff only applies to "Laid off Lack of Work", so that's fine. If in your weekly filing you see "Were you still employed by the ● company as of ●/●/2021?" then temporary layoff is a YES answer.

you are right, just before you click SUBMIT on File a Claim Certification or Reactivate a Claim application, open it and if Company A disappears and Company B is added, everything is done. （ Be careful not to click SUBMIT by accident ）.

It takes a few days for the UI office to update employer changes, not more than a week.

I should have originally completed the Reactivate a Claim application changing two employer information at once on the same day. Just to be safe, I sent an email to the email address for Language, "I finished the process of adding the Reactivate a Claim application on January 19, so please update it to add Company B by the morning of this Saturday （ ） the 23rd of this week. Otherwise, we will not be able to submit the File a Claim Certification application for the 23rd deadline. Please include your name, the last four digits of your social security number, the address where you registered your account, your telephone number, and your e-mail address. If I do a claim certification for January 23, does it mean for the period of 17 to 23 days ？

My YOUR WEEKLY/BY WEEKLY CLAIM CERTIFICATION FILING I was confused because in the SCHEDULE table the 1ST SINGLE WEEK/(WEEK ENDING DATE) column says 01/23/2021 and the column to the right says (DATE TO FILE) 01/24/2021 TO 01/30/2021.
because the CLAIM CERTIFICATION question has WERE YOU AVAILABLE FOR WORK? and it is in the past tense, so I guess it is not about 24th-30th but for 17th-23rd ？

The 23rd deadline is the period from the 17th to the 23rd; for the 23rd deadline, the filing window is from the 24th （ Sunday ） to the 30th （ Saturday ）. The "Were you available for work?" question asks about the period from the 17th to the 23rd.

Since it sounds like you just started unemployment insurance, it would be a good idea to have a friend who has unemployment insurance and ask them to share their know-how and what you need to be aware of. Also, be sure to read the handbook so you don't make mistakes without knowing about them. It also has information on how to file.

One question. My first application (~1/16) is still WAITING PERIOD, but I have also applied for the following week (~1/23).
I checked today and the initial WAITING PERIOD is still the same and the following week is PENDING.
(of course, I thought that would be the case since the first time was not processed)
How long does it take for the first time application to be processed ？

Please read #352 in the "PEUC Unemployment Insurance 13 Week Extension Program" Topic. If you see "Details not available", it may be a week or so before you see "Processed".

Also, please read through all the threads, starting with #732, in case any questions or concerns arise in the future. If you have friends who are receiving UI unemployment insurance, it would be a good idea to ask them to give you a rundown of the process from the time you first apply for unemployment insurance to the time you receive your payment.

UI and PUA are different agencies and systems with different jurisdictions, so take them as completely different.

We received the deposit from UI without incident.

I share the process, although it may not be necessary right now.

*I originally applied to the PUA initially because I started work in 2019/12.

2020/8 Received letter from PUA stating I was eligible for benefits at UI and PUA denied payment
↓
2020/8 Got advice here and sent letter to UI stating I was eligible for benefits at UI, GC copy, and 2021/1/4 I didn't hear anything by the end of the year, so I went online to file my first claim
↓
2021/1/8 I heard from the UI office and filed my GC copy, drivers license copy, SSC copy, etc. Contacted me and requested that I email them a copy of my GC, a copy of my driver's license, and a copy of my SSC
Sent the above and a letter of entitlement at UI from PUA to the designated email address
↓
2021/1/14 Receive letter of entitlement from UI
Claim online (1st week remains Waiting Period … Claim the following week and become Pending → Total 3 weeks
↓
2021/1 /26,27 2 weeks each Processed (Waiting Period remains the same)
↓
2021/1/28 1st payment is received (including $ 300 of Special Federal Payment)

Another week which is Processed will be credited in a few days.
It has been a very long 5 months since August. But I think it has been fast since I claimed at the beginning of the year lol. I always refer to suset and all your posts. Since we are in the tourism business, we still have a long way to go. Still, I'm going to spend my time being grateful to the company for treating me FURLOUGH and
keeping my insurance, etc. as it is, saying "I'll do my best so that everyone can come back".
