Hi I'm going back to Japan in September and I'm applying for my daughter's US passport at the end of this month.
I was expecting to receive it in a week or so like in Japan, but when I looked at the website it says 8-11 weeks and I discovered that would not be enough time for the travel date. How long did it take you guys here to get your US passport from the time you applied for it to the time you got it?
Or do you know if there is anything I can do to get it in time?

I have a green card renewal coming up and am planning to renew it myself through the USCIS website.
I am renewing for an adult and two children.
Do I have to create a USCIS account for each child as I did for the adult?
Next I am trying to file for a child, but I don't see where I can file for a child from the adult account,
I am wondering if there is one account per child ？.

If anyone knows, please let me know.

I should have had surgery in Japan, but I have a lump on my skin.
I think what I am feeling is most likely a powder lump. I have not been here long and would like to be examined by a Japanese doctor if possible, please let me know if you know of one.

We have been married for 12 years and have two children under 18.

I understand that Hawaii ID holders can get into Hanauma Bay and Diamond Head without reservations, but if my friend who is going with me does not, can we still get in without reservations ？

Trial for amendment of Article 11 of the Nationality Law
Under the current Japanese Nationality Law, a person "automatically" loses Japanese nationality if he/she voluntarily acquires the nationality of another country.
Now, plaintiffs living in Switzerland and other countries are fighting in court to amend this. I think this is an important trial for those of us living in the US.
There is a petition campaign on change.org to amend Article 11 of the Nationality Law. Currently, about 43,000 votes have been collected, but it would be great if more people would sign the petition. The next trial will be held in September. By the way, I am an individual and not a member of this association.

I was looking up the PCR test
for my return trip from Hawaii to Japan next month, and I found on the My Hawaii website
that if you are a resident of Hawaii (U.S.A.), if you paste a negative result of the free PCR test at the Waikiki Shell on your Fast Track, it will turn
green and you can enter Japan.
If this is true, then I am not sure if I can enter Japan. If this is true, it would be a great help to me as the high cost of the test, which used to be about $ 110 at the lowest, is now free.

I tested with Nomi Health and got a test result, but it only shows "test name:C19. Result:negative"
The test Result:negative" and there is no description of the test method, etc.
Is it possible to take a screencap of just this and paste it into MySOS?
Or can I print out a negative certificate from somewhere else?
