Just to reconfirm, the following response from the UI office call center that Rainbow shared in #511 of this topic, were you told to apply for EB20 after exhausting your PEUC account balance, regardless of the Benefit Year End expiration date? ？ Or did they tell you to apply for EB20 before the Benefit Year End expires ？?

Thank you for your reply, the UI staff told me that it doesn't matter that it expires, I should continue to file as long as I have a balance.
Bibina, Web site, etc. referred me to file EB before it expires even if I have a balance.
When I previously asked UI about my 401K, I was told to claim it because two staff members are intercoms. I read that I do not have to claim the information from the responsible people. So I am confused if it is okay to call us as well.

This is my personal guess, but the fact that they said "it doesn't matter that it expires" may mean that they reconfigured the UI system so that if you apply for EB20 after Benefit Year End has passed, the rejection message is not displayed immediately.

This is also a suggestion, but the UI office call center keeps a record of all phone calls from applicants, so if you try applying for EB20 after you have exhausted your PEUC account balance and you get an immediate rejection message, you should contact the UI office. How about: I have a feeling that the UI office will read your past records on the phone and modify your Benefit Year End with flexibility.

The responsible team has checked with Examiner. If you are unsure, I think you should file a claim and if you don't need to file, you will get a refund. as highlighted at PEUC, the UI office is really disjointed in their response. I'm not sure how much protests have come in, but it seems that the UI office is cutting Mainland-based staff and working on hiring Hawaii-based staff.

Base Period was
3/2019
6/2019
9/2019
12/2019
and
TOTAL WAGES AND WEEKS were listed as 4 each.

"If the Base Period is April, it starts in January 2019 and ends around December 2019."
So,

I guess that the total of these 4 amounts should be at least 40 times the WBA I am receiving. ？
