I went to the Big Island of Hawaii on June 15 and registered with TravelHawaii the day before, not knowing that the restrictions had been lifted.

My high school daughter attended here two years ago.
Koby's driving school
(also at the school's Driving Ed due to schedule conflicts)

Every Saturday, we had a few days of classroom training at the Kalihi office, followed by a few hours of on the road training.
After school, my instructor would come to the school to pick me up and
I would go straight to the road class.
I was also taught to drive a car with brakes.

I don't have a driver's license in Japan and when I moved here I felt the need for a car and am looking for a school to get a license.
(In my case, it's really from the beginning, and I had to fight with my husband to practice with his car, so I looked for a professional. Also, I want them to teach me in Japanese only at the beginning so I can Ǿ)

I was informed by my landlord last week that he had communicated with my caseworker and she said I would be paid for 3 months, but today my landlord contacted me again and told me that he had been told that I would be paid for 2 months.

In my case, I applied to Catholic Charities in April and contacted the landlord after it was Complete on the website. I received my check the week after my landlord received the email from Catholic Charities.

Answer to your questions.

To all UI recipients who have a sole proprietorship,

[MEUC Program]

After reconfirming with the Unemployment Insurance Help Team, we would like to share the email that was sent out to UI recipients who are not eligible for the MEUC Program. According to the content of the email, UI recipients who earned over $5,000 in private business will receive $100 per week.

The application process is to apply for "Mixed Earners Unemployment Compensation" on the PUA page and submit the required documents.

The contents of the email are pasted below.

Beginning June 17, 2021, DLIR will begin accepting applications for Mixed Earners Unemployment Compensation (MEUC), which provides an MEUC is available to individuals receiving regular UI or extended benefits who also received MEUC is available to individuals receiving regular UI or extended benefits who also received at least $ 5,000 of net self-employment income in the most recent tax year ending prior to the individual's application for UI benefits. [About Fixed Term Employment Contract （ Limited Term Work ）]

I have seen several past cases of Fixed Term Employment Contracts so far, so I will share what I know about them.

Please read the following only on the assumption that the Overpayment is not due to illegal causes such as out-of-state stay filing, intentional overfiling, spoof filing, etc., but due to simple errors in paid leave reporting, etc., and "expected to be resolved eventually"!

"Your son started a 40 hour/week Federal job from mid-May through July, which is DISQUALIFIED because it exceeds his WBA, but he is going to keep filing because this job ends in mid-July."

I suggest you get a certificate （ dated for the start and end of the work period, signed by the employer ） from HR at the Federal job that the work is for a limited time from mid-May through July. Or if you have a contract copy that contains similar information, that would still be fine. If you submit the certificate or contract copy to the UI office, it will not be misinterpreted as "Quit （ Quit ） yourself".

There have actually been quite a few cases in the past where a fixed-term employment contract was misunderstood as a "Quit" because the applicant did not submit a certificate or a copy of the contract on his/her own.

In conclusion, you will not lose your UI eligibility. In either case, you will need to update your UI account with the Federal Jobs Employer Update. The procedure for updating your employer information is the same as #301 in the "PEUC September Extension Program （ Third PEUC ）" topic.

You do not have to file weekly if your Federal work salary reliably exceeds your WBA or 40-hour work week （ but you do need to update your employer information addition ）. Some people file properly every week even if they exceed. Either is fine, the rest is up to the individual.

Last year, UI accounts were automatically suspended after a few months of not filing weekly.

Part-time is a layoff, so Job Search activity is required. However, I can't find an answer on the Job Search website as to whether or not you need to do a Job Search while working more than 40 hours per week on a fixed-term contract with WBA, so please ask the call center about that.
