Restaurant Suntory renews grand menu to celebrate 45th anniversary

Honolulu, HI （ March 2025 ） - Celebrating 45 years of tradition and excellence, Restaurant Suntory is pleased to announce the renewal of its grand menu. The restaurant is constantly evolving its menu so that guests can enjoy the fresh flavors of seasonal ingredients along with Suntory's signature drinks.

Opening in the heart of Waikiki on September 15, 1980, Restaurant Suntory is the only remaining tenant of the Royal ・ Hawaiian ・ Center since its inception. Offering authentic Japanese cuisine, fine Suntory beverages, and unparalleled hospitality in a sophisticated setting, the restaurant continues to proudly serve as a bridge between Japan and the rest of the world. Highly acclaimed by locals and visitors of all generations, the restaurant has also received Hawaii's most prestigious gourmet award, the Hale 'Aina Award, on numerous occasions. In addition to expanding the menu at the counter-style sushi restaurant, Kiwa, the Japanese, teppanyaki, and dessert menus have also been revamped. A wide variety of new menu items that make the most of local ingredients are now available, skillfully blending traditional dishes with original creations, such as shrimp and pineapple in a special mayonnaise sauce called "Ebi Mayo.
Japanese Cuisine
Restaurant Suntory offers traditional Japanese cuisine such as sushi, tempura, and nabe dishes, beautifully presented with a combination of carefully selected ingredients from Japan and Hawaii's rich local produce. The main attraction of the menu is the four kaiseki courses that offer a luxurious Japanese gastronomic experience. Guests can also freely combine salads, sushi and sashimi, grilled fish and steak, noodles, and a variety of a la carte dishes to create their own special dining experience.
Teppanyaki
Sit around the teppanyaki grill and enjoy the finest steaks and seafood prepared hot and fresh in front of you by our chefs. Teppan dishes using carefully selected ingredients such as Wagyu beef and Hokkaido scallops are available both as a course menu and a la carte. In addition, we have newly started offering a variety of hearty standard Japanese dishes such as Wagyu beef stewed curry and Washu beef motsu yakisoba.

Restaurant Suntory is owned by Suntory Holdings, Japan's oldest and largest beer ・ distiller, and was established under the Suntory brand name to promote Japanese culture and cuisine. opened in Hawaii in 1980. Located on the 3rd floor of the Royal ・ Hawaiian ・ Center B building, it is the only "Restaurant Suntory" in the United States, serving Hawaii residents and domestic and international visitors. Over the years, the restaurant has become a popular venue for dinners and celebrations, providing many customers with an authentic fine Japanese dining experience. We are open daily and offer three different types of dining experiences: Kiwa, a counter-style sushi restaurant using fresh ingredients shipped directly from Japan; a Japanese dining area with a wide selection of sumptuous kaiseki courses, tempura and other traditional Japanese dishes; and a teppanyaki room where you can enjoy the chefs' magnificent skills up close and personal. The Teppanyaki Room offers three different dining experiences. For parties and special dinners, there is also a private dining room that can accommodate up to 12 people. Validation services are available for guests using the Royal ・ Hawaiian ・ Center parking garage.
