You can ask your acquaintances, but if you search for preschools on google maps, you will find a lot of preschools. Some places were paperless.
Once the application is submitted and accepted, you will be able to secure one for your child. In my opinion, the places where people who know everyone with kids and want to put them in private school from elementary school send them, the tuition is high, it's hard to get in because of the entrance exams, and some places don't do in-person tours in the first place. I haven't heard from the one that said they would do it if it were virtual, but they don't have any plans right now and would email me when they did...it's been two months now and I haven't heard from them. My requirements were that the place be easy to get to, the tuition was reasonable, and the school had a good atmosphere. Some places are starting to accept applications now, but some are already full for the next school year, so I think you should keep deciding.

Hello. Do you want to go to school right away ？ Since the new school year is starting this month everywhere, many schools may be on waitlist, but if you wait 6 months or so, there may be openings, so it would be good to check how many people are waiting on waitlist at the time of application.

I have heard good things about Kawaiahao, Angels at play, Hongwanji, and Sacred Heart from people I know.

I had to keep an excel sheet to compare them because they really vary from school to school in terms of tuition, hours, after school, lunch availability, educational policy, etc.

By the way, in Town, preschool at Wai'alae Elementary School, a charter school, is free under government jurisdiction. The school will start accepting applications for the 2024 school year in January 2024, though the odds are very high. Good luck finding a good school.
