The Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor is located on historic Ford Island, where the bombs were dropped during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The museum recounts the events of that day in the iconic 158-foot red and white Ford Island control tower, Hangar 37 ( Main Building ) and 79 ( Exhibition Hall 2 ), and Hangar 79, where bullets from that day are still visible in the glass windows. Hangar 37 still has bullets from the Second World War. Hangar 37 displays WWII-era aircraft, while hangar 79 houses many famous and unique aircraft awaiting restoration. The main building also features a unique museum ・ store and Laniakea ・ café with a 1940's atmosphere for shopping and dining.
